Process Engineer in Carson City, NV

Aerotek is currently seeking qualified applicants for a process engineer position at a components manufacturing facility in Carson City. The perfect candidate will be experienced with metal process engineering, 6 Sigma/Lean and manufacturing processes including casting and forging. This person will be responsible for quality control and continuous manufacturing improvement. The company wants a applicant that can come in to a heavy industrial manufacturing facility to develop and maintain a sustainable, effective, metal management system.Other requirements for a qualified applicant would include background performing hands-on quality tests using x-ray machine, spectrograph, and other devices. A degree is preferred but not required with five to 7 yrs of background in manufacturing.
